RANCHO'S DROUGHT-RESISTANT LANDSCAPING PROJECT

We're excited to share details about a major landscaping project underway at Rancho—one that will help us conserve water, reduce costs, and create a more sustainable environment for everyone to enjoy. We're taking advantage of a generous rebate program from Valley Water while funds are still available, making this the perfect time to invest in our club's future.

What We're Doing

Thanks to the Valley Water rebate program, we're transforming our club's landscape with drought-resistant features:

  • Outside the fence: We're converting all lawn areas to beautiful native plants with a variety of hardscape, and installing efficient drip irrigation systems that use significantly less water than traditional sprinklers.

  • Inside the fence: We're tidying up and beautifying the grass, shrubs, and trees around our pools to keep these areas looking their best.

Why This Matters

This project delivers benefits for our club and our community:

  • Significant water savings that help us do our part during California's ongoing drought challenges

  • Lower long-term maintenance costs, meaning more resources for other club improvements

  • Rebate savings from the Valley Water District that help offset project costs

  • Environmental benefits through native plantings that support local wildlife and require fewer resources

Timeline

The project is already underway, and we're on track to complete the project by Opening Day 2026. We appreciate your patience as we work to make these important improvements.

We're proud to be taking this step toward a more sustainable future for Rancho. If you have questions about the project, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Club Manager at rstsrcmanager@gmail.com. We welcome all feedback.
