Hello everyone,
When Little Kiddles closed at the club, we experienced a few
losses. One being the preschool, that many have benefitted from over the
years. And another being the income that the Little Kiddles brought
to the club.
Margot Haddad is, without a doubt, one of the most genuine and caring
persons I know. I don’t have to tell any of you that, because many
of you have had the pleasure when entrusting your kids to her care. Under
Margot’s direction, the Little Kiddles program provided the community a
preschool on one hand, and a source of income on the other.
Yes, I said income. Money that we used to help pay for upkeep of
our club. Today’s costs are not the same as those established when the
yearly dues amount was calculated. But, I believe we’ve done a good job
of managing that thus far. However, we are dependent on maintaining
income, to keep from falling short on the operating costs of the club.
Keeping up income and identifying cost savings have been key in keeping the
club in good condition and repair. It has allowed us not to have to come
to you for any dues increases.
Now, we are entering into discussion with another preschool to take the
place of Little Kiddles.
There are significant differences though.
·
The Preschool would operate year
round. About 20 kids ages 2 ½ to 5
·
It would operate Monday Through Friday
from 7AM to 6PM.
·
They would require use of our kitchen
Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
·
They would also require exclusive use
of the playground from 10:30 A< to 11:30 AM and again from 4:10PM to 5PM
(depending on season/weather)
·
Club members would get a 10% Discount
on the rates (Rates have not been determined though, but talk is about
$1000/month +/- $200)
Since this has an impact on us, I thought you would all want to know
about it. Feedback should be directed to directors@ranchosantateresa.org
Respectfully,
